Born Oct 5th 1959 in Washington is an American songwriter. His music has been characterized as a mixture of delta blues and jazz. His latest album "Western Bell" released this year is all instrumental.

He initially gained notice for his solo lapstyle slide guitar playing, which he played by laying the instrument flat and fretting it with a heavy steel bar.

The gig is worth a visit for any serious thinking acoustic guitarist.
